The Ferrari Purosangue and Rolls-Royce Cullinan both answer the question 'what if a supercar or a limousine had four doors?' — but from opposite directions. One is a Ferrari that happens to seat four; the other is the definitive statement of luxury with a boot.
The Ferrari way
The Purosangue is a genuine Ferrari first: a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 of around 725 PS, 0–100 km/h in roughly 3.3 seconds and a chassis engineered to drive like a sports car. It has four seats and four doors (the rear pair rear-hinged), but it is emphatically not a soft SUV — Ferrari won't even call it one.
The Rolls-Royce way
The Cullinan is about serenity and presence. Its 6.75-litre twin-turbo V12 (around 571 PS) is tuned for effortless, near-silent torque and the famous 'magic carpet ride', with a rear cabin finished to a standard nothing else matches. It is the car you're driven in as much as the car you drive.
Which should you hire?
Hire the Purosangue if you want Ferrari drama and V12 sound with room for four — a car that turns a weekend or a shoot into an event. Hire the Cullinan if you want commanding luxury and comfort for a wedding, VIP arrival or occasion, especially chauffeur-driven.
